Job Description
Senior Research Scientist II will contribute to the preclinical development of radio-Theranostics drugs.  This is a hands-on laboratory position.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and selection of in vitro and or in vivo methods and models to evaluate absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion (ADME), and pharmacokinetic (PK) of radio-Theranostic drugs, in GLP environment. This scientist will closely coordinate activities with translational and discovery research and report to CSO.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure selection of appropriate in vitro and or in vivo methods and animal models to evaluate absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion (ADME), and pharmacokinetic (PK) of radio-Theranostics drugs in GLP settings.
  • Responsible for generation of tumor xenografts and orthotopic models and execution of toxicity and efficacy studies of radio-Theranostics drugs
  • Responsible for the analysis, interpretation, integration, and reporting of preclinical data generated for R&D and IND purposes.
Basic Required Qualifications
  • Work permit in the United States of America
  • Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, including an MS degree with at least 5+ years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. degree with preferably but not required industry experience.
  • Recommendation letter from two references familiar with the scientific performance and capabilities of the candidate.
Additional Skills
  • Expertise in toxicity and efficacy and PK  studies and data analysis
  • Expert in vivo rodents handling skill, dosing (IV, SC, IP, PO, etc.) and harvesting tissues/fluids.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills that enable multitasking and working within timelines are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact and conduct strategic planning with colleagues in other scientific disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of the overall drug discovery process.
Prior experience working with radio-Theranostic drugs is an advantage but not required.
