CDL A Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport heavy loads and items on flatbed trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Secure loads using appropriate methods such as straps, chains, and tie downs, while adhering to weight and height limits.
• Operate knuckle booms, truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts as needed to load and unload cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Requirements:

• CDL A Driver with a minimum of 3 years experience in transporting heavy loads on flatbed trailers.
• Full knowledge of securing loads safely using straps, chains, tie downs, and understanding weight & height limits.
• Previous experience with knuckle booms, truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts.
• Clean driving record.
• Availability to report to our Wharton, NJ facility daily.
