Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Part Time

(Note for applicants - a Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed medical provider who is able to prescribe, diagnose and treat medical conditions under the license of a Medical Doctor. This is not a posting looking for an administrative assistant)  

This is a part-time on-site role located in Hiram, GA for a Physician Assistant at Revive Medical Weight Loss. The Physician Assistant will provide patient care in a clinical setting, including but not limited to assessing patient's health status, providing treatments and consultations, managing medication, and coordinating with other medical professionals to ensure the best outcome for patients.

Revive Medical Weight Loss is looking for Certified Physician Assistants as a permanent position to our clinic in Hiram Georgia on Saturdays, Mondays, and possibly Wednesday. Currently our clinic hours are Saturdays from 9am - 2pm and Mondays from 11am - 7pm (new hours to be discussed with the new hire) and looking to add a third day-Wednesday (hours are to be discussed with the new hire).

RMWL pay is above average for PA personnel and the staff and clients are friendly and welcoming. The pace is steady, however pay is not on commission, so there is no pressure to ‘sell’ anything. Our providers need to be able to manage time spent with each patient to ensure proper examination while also being efficient to reduce wait times. Our providers simply offer medically guided weight loss education and offer clients the highest quality care and medications available.

We are also looking to branch into other areas of care that are relavent in the MedSpa arena.

**This is not a PRN position. We have a couple of other providers on staff that are willing to cover the occasional Saturday but we are looking for a lead provider who can commit to Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

A RMWL PA should be comfortable spending time with patients discussing weight loss goals and available options from oral to injectable medications including stimulants, Lipotropics, and GLPs. Although we do have Medical Assistants on staff, our PA's should also be comfortable administering both IM and Sub-Q injections.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Current certification and licensure as a PA in the state of Georgia
• Experience in primary care, weight loss, or wellness preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and staff
• Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and families
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• BLS/ACLS certification (preferred)
