Painter1, a residential painting company is seeking an experienced Door to Door Appointment Setter! Have you been doing this for someone else and thought if you were in charge, you could do it better? Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for building and managing the door-to-door sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Create and maintain sales targets, KPIs, and metrics to measure team performance and ensure sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Design and refine sales processes, scripts, and techniques to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and customer engagement during door-to-door interactions.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, motivation, and accountability within the sales team, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support to maximize individual and collective potential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align door-to-door sales initiatives with overall company objectives and strategies.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and improvement in door-to-door sales tactics and approaches.
  • Oversee territory mapping and route planning to ensure efficient coverage and penetration of target markets, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and expense controls for the door-to-door sales division, ensuring cost-effective operations while delivering on revenue and profitability targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community organizations, to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and market penetration.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, trends, challenges, and opportunities to senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in door-to-door sales. (This is a Non-starter if you have never done door to door sales)
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Exceptional sales acumen and a deep understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a diverse team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both internal stakeholders and external customers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen analytical mindset and the capacity to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and develop actionable plans for success.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, training, and developing high-performing sales teams, including proficiency in onboarding processes, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements affecting door-to-door sales, with a commitment to staying informed and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., MBA, Sales Management Certification) preferred but not required.
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset, with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and driving positive change within the organization.
