Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) performs a variety of functions involving analysis and interpretation of financial data that support the decision-making processes within the revenue cycle management team for CND Life Sciences. In addition, this position will manage all changes within the electronic practice management (EPM) and electronic health management (EHR) systems including CPT & ICD-10 codes, staff access, and other file maintenance duties required to meet state and federal regulations. The BSA will work with RCM leadership to complete month end financial close and generate final reports for accounting. The BSA will perform monthly & quarterly system audits to ensure data and revenue integrity and provide subject matter expert (SME) as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead systems implementation.
• Lead transition to new EPM system and sunset legacy AR system.
• Manage all aspects of system upgrades, implementations, and maintenance.
• Maintain data integrity within the revenue cycle management (RCM) functions by overseeing all system edits as needed to maintain the electronic practice management system (EPM).
• Perform month end close, financial analysis and reporting, including department specific productivity measures, and maintenance of RCM dashboards.
• Support the RCM team with maintenance and general management of the practice management system.
• Maintain charge master and other revenue cycle related databases needed to manage revenue cycle.
• Collaborates with IT and Billing to automate processes related to EPM and electronic health records (EHR) systems including data extraction to outside vendors and internal system automation. Research and recommend technology-based learning solutions.
• Utilize database application and reporting tools to develop, design and automate complex reporting and decision support systems. Formulates and implements data collection methodologies utilizing multiple data systems to develop and synthesize data into meaningful analysis.
• Prepare and present analytics and statistics that promote effective revenue maximization.
• Assists the VP, RCM with other duties and reports as needed.

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in system administration or equivalent health care management.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in revenue cycle management preferred.
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Requires a high level of problem solving and analytics skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, and one must communicate technical concepts clearly to a diverse audience.

• BA or BS in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role may be substituted for educational requirement.

• This position is based at the Company's Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters with the expectation of performing work on site, in-office a minimum of 3-4 days per week.
