Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves managing a team of production workers, coordinating workflow, and collaborating with other departments to achieve production goals. The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and productive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Supervision and Leadership:**

   - Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support.

   - Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting a safe and respectful working environment.

   - Schedule and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of production goals.

2. **Production Planning:**

   - Collaborate with the production planning team to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

3. **Quality Control:**

   - Enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.

   - Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to minimize defects and improve overall product quality.

4. **Process Optimization:**

   - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

   - Implement and oversee lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

5. **Health and Safety Compliance:**

   - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

   - Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.

6. **Inventory Management:**

   - Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels.

   - Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure materials are available for production.

7. **Communication and Collaboration:**

   - Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to address production-related issues.

   - Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production status, challenges, and achievements.

8. **Performance Metrics:**

   - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production performance.

   - Analyze data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production supervision.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
