Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in mental health to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Providing counseling and education to patients and their families
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitoring and managing patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Advocating for patients and their healthcare needs
- Document and prescribe medications accordingly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing in a mental health facitlity
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
