Manufacturing - Industrial Electrician

$25.00 per hour to start plus full benefits

JobGiraffe's client is a manufacturer of machinery for industry.

As Industrial Electrician, you will:

Receive industry-specific training
Wire components into machine structures and sub-assemblies
Review electrical schematics, work instructions and customer requirements
Wire contacts, overloads, switches, power distribution blocks and relays
Run high and low power cables
Ensure wiring is properly labels
Conduct testing on completed machine structures and sub-assemblies
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
Once machine assemblies tested are complete, disassemble machines for shipping
Handle special projects
Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

Industrial Electrician experience
Ability to read electrical schematics
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pluses:

+++ Related electrical training and/or certification(s)
+++ Machine Building experience
+++ PLC experience
