INVENTORY CONTROL/PURCHASING CLERK

Your Job

• Maintain control and integrity of inventory and procurement systems
• Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures and identify shortages
• Complete monthly inventory physical verification and/or cycle counts
• Place purchase orders for inventoried materials based on forecast methods
• Organize and oversee monthly inventory counts
• Record and maintain material distribution processes
• Place material orders to replenish stock, avoiding shortages or excessive surplus
• Receive, record, and stock all incoming material shipments
• Maintain inventory room in a clean, safe, and organized manner
• Process internal and external returns
• Label, stock, rotate and distribute all merchandise

Your Skills

• High School Diploma
• Previous purchasing/inventory control experience
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Reliable and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an inventory/purchasing role
• Data entry experience

Location:

Our network of dental laboratories spans seven states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Texas, and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida.

Interview Process

As a part of our commitment to creating a fair, equitable, and positive interview experience for all candidates, we offer full transparency of our interview stages to give applicants an idea of the time and effort involved.

1. Information Screening: The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.
2. Panel Interview: 60-minute interview with two to three key members of the team. This will take place at the lab and will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet the team, tour the workplace, and gain a better understanding of the job’s functions.
3. Offer: The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent.
