Nurse Manager Med Surg / Telemetry

We seek a qualified RN Nurse manager for our 120-bed, acute-care hospital, primary stroke center, and a cardiac heart surgery hospital.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Base Salary: $149,000 to $239,000
Signing Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance - YES

Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN and/or MSN Degree) preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience in the field of expertise
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in an acute care setting
- Current California RN license
- Current ACLS certification (AHA certified)
- Current PALS or ENPC Certification (AHA certified)
- Current CPI card
– Nonviolent Crises Intervention Training
- CEN preferred

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Manage the nursing staff and ensure that they are providing quality patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff performance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Manage unit budgets and ensure that resources are being utilized effectively
- Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
