REMOTE POSITION
PART-TIME HOURS – 20 HOURS PER WEEK (MONDAY-FRIDAY 8-12 PACIFIC TIME)
PAY RANGE UP TO $62.00 PER HOUR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL)

REMOTE Employee Communications Specialist (Part-Time) needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh’s client.

The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
  • Employee communications
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation development (PowerPoint)
  • Internal or change communication planning and execution
  • Editing and/or design feedback
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Partners with Communications Business Partners, helping develop and execute function-led communications plans across the enterprise.
  • This involves working closely with Leadership Teams (LTs) spanning HR, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Strategy, Global Ops, and Legal on their communications goals and objectives for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Simultaneously, this role works alongside the Employee Communications team to ensure alignment of messaging, timing, and channel delivery with Corporate-led communications.
  • Counsel on communications plans for priority functional initiatives (i.e., major launches, industry partnerships, restructuring)
  • Help assess target audiences and advise on key communications tactics for priority initiatives.
  • Editing and/or design feedback on priority functional content development (LT-led)
  • Light copy editing and/or PowerPoint design support for content intended for function-wide or companywide distribution
  • Video production facilitation as appropriate
  • Story leads or content ideas pitching to corporate channel owners on behalf of initiative leads
  • Provide logistics guidance and best practices for live or virtual meetings
  • Reporting on function-wide communications
  • Function-wide event metrics and key takeaways to be shared with LT
  • Programmatic communications
  • Help develop content tools and templates for programs that are transactional or cyclical events (i.e., open enrollment, stock trading window open/close, function-led trainings, etc.)
What You Need to Bring to the Table: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation development (PowerPoint)
  • Internal or change communication planning and execution
  • Experience working with executive level leaders   
  • Communications professional and collaborative partner
  • Able to work quickly and with minimal supervision
  • Responsive and accustomed to fast paced working environment.
