Senior Accounting Manager - Part-Time 9-2

Semi-Trailer Big Box, a Big Truck and Semi-Trailer dealership with Branches in Grayson, Georgia and Dallas, Texas is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Part-Time Senior Accounting Manager.  Desired Hours are 9-2 M-F.  Can be flexible with hours.  We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented individual with very clear goals.  This position is located in our Grayson, GA office. 

Position Summary:

This is a high-level position to lead and execute all day-to-day Accounting functions.  You will support the CFO and coordinate activities with our administrative team. 

Major areas of responsibility:

• Organize and execute day-to-day accounting functions
• Account reconciliations and cash flow management
• Oversight of all system input from Admin Team - A/R, A/P, Inventory
• Daily wire transfer management
• Monthly financial statement preparation
• Standard business taxes such as sales tax, property tax, annual renewals
• Communicate with customers and vendors on escalated issues 
• Review and improve daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflow
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
• Provide special project assistance and miscellaneous duties as assigned by CFO
• Support branch team

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven, knowledgeable passion for accounting
• Accounting degree preferred
• Detail-oriented and results driven
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word required
• 5+-years of experience in Accounting - Business Administration - Operations
• Excellent verbal & written skills required
• Self-starter who embraces learning & problem solving
• Small-medium business experience in accounting
• Dealership or transportation industry, inventory management is a plus
