Experienced HVAC Install Technician

James Lane Air Conditioning Co., LLC, a Fidelity Company located in Wichita Falls, TX, is looking for an HVAC installation technician to join our growing team!

An HVAC Install Technician is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in compliance with company standards while providing the client with a high-quality experience. These include HVAC/R equipment, duct systems, fittings, grilles, registers, diffusers, controls, and related equipment.

An ideal candidate will have at least two years of field installation experience, adaptability in a fast-paced work environment, and provide feedback and suggestions on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction. They will have the ability to prioritize, close attention to detail, and maintain a high level of customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.

Primary Duties:

• Follow defined installation procedures for HVAC/R equipment according to company instructions/policy, manufacturer installation instructions, salesperson notes, and if applicable per instructions of the Lead HVAC Install Technician.
• Identify and solve problems that might prevent the completion of work within budgeted time.
• Complete repairs, improvements, or installations within budgeted hours, in accordance with company standards, while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Provide feedback and suggestions on ways to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
• Start up new equipment and verify correct operation.
• Acquire sufficient knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, potential advancement, and a positive, productive work environment consistent with company goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, co-workers, subcontractors, and others.
• Provide supervision to other installation professionals.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of field experience installing HVAC systems is required.
• EPA and Nate Certification is preferred.
• Ability to install duct materials, fittings, and insulation promptly
• Ability to read and understand duct layouts and plans
• Ability to build duct transitions using duct board and run refrigerant line sets
• Ability to set air handlers, furnaces, condensers, heat pumps and ductless equipment
• Required to participate in company-provided technical training outside of work.
