About the Programs and Positions:Cayuga Centers, a leading provider of evidence-based programs, is seeking clinicians to join our Functional Family Therapy program and Children and Family Support program.
Functional Family Therapy (FFT). Utilizes a nationally researched and evidence-based model of home-based therapy with the entire family unit to prevent out-of-home placement of youth. The goals of the program are to increase coping skills, increase problem solving skills, reduce the rate of out of home placement, improve family functioning, and decrease mental health problems for youth.
Children and Family Treatment Support and Services. Other Licensed Professionals (OLP) provide in-home and community-based support to youth, reducing emergency room visits, hospital stays and out-of-home placements. Our OLPs specialize in mental health evaluations and assessments,and working with youth, their families and caseworkers to create personalized treatment plans.
Multisystemic Therapy (MST). The MST model serves youth between the ages of 11-18 with a history of juvenile delinquency or at imminent risk of out-of-home placement. In this role we support youth and families in how to optimize potential and nurture the youth's positive role within their family and their community. Our MST Therapists help families reach their goals and desired outcomes through empowerment and strength focused therapy.

Utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed practice to help children, youth, and families identify their strengths and needs,
Learn internationally utilized evidence-based treatment models.
Demonstrate an inclusive practice both in the office and in the field to support a diverse and accepting culture.
Contribute to a multidisciplinary team that shares your passion for children and families.
Develop individualized service plans that will drive the provision of services and deliver in a manner that is trauma-informed and strengths-based.
Enhance the functioning of youth and their families while helping them build stronger relationships for their future.
Become a support in helping children/youth and families respond and intervene in crises.
We are looking for an applicant who is willing to work a flexible schedule that suits the youth and family needs. This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week position that will require evening and possibly weekend hours. Occasionally, may have to respond to crises which may occur at any hour of any day.

- Bachelors degree with 3 years applicable experience in children's mental health, addiction, and/or foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice or other related human services field and certification in an Evidenced Based Practice will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with experience in strength-based family and children's services.
- Licensed Clinicians or those with a Limited Permit preferred, Masters level applicants will be considered case by case.
- Experience working with children and families in a community-based or "in-home" setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- A strong belief in the capacity of people to grow and change.
- Possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to appreciate and encourage diversity and understand the concept of cultural trauma as it applies to individual and family functioning.
- Knowledge and experience formulating clinical diagnoses and/or impressions.
- Ability to engage families who may have been unsuccessful in clinic settings.
- Knowledge of the Child Welfare System.

Pay is determined by education, professional license and years of applicable experience:
Bachelor's degree: $58,458 - $60,974/annually
Masters degree: $58,500 - $73,600/annually
LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAT: $64,000 - $73,600/annually
LCSW: $72,000 - $82,800/annually
120 hours of Vacation
