Medsurg RN

Job Summary:
The Medsurg RN at ATC Healthcare is a full-time, individual contributor role in the Healthcare/Medical field. The position is located in New York, New York and offers a competitive salary of $2150 per week, paid weekly. The Medsurg RN is responsible for providing high quality patient care and supporting the multidisciplinary team in providing safe and effective treatment in the Medsurg unit.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Medsurg unit, including assessing and monitoring patient status, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, lab results, and treatment response.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and aftercare instructions.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Medsurg unit.
- BSN degree or equivalent experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Knowledge of current best practices in Medsurg nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
