Maleko personnel is excited to announce their partnership with a local Food Production Company in Tualatin, OR.

Essential Functions

•Monitor packages going through the line, searching for packages damaged in various ways, and monitor/record equipment operating parameters.

•Straighten packages that have tipped over on the heat tunnel.

•Quickly stack off when equipment is not operating properly (approximately 100 packages per minute).

•Perform monitoring and troubleshooting duties for packaging equipment and palletizing duties that rotate amongst staff.

•Transport product and/or other items by forklift.

•Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work area.

•Ensure all paperwork is recorded accurately, completely, and timely

•Uphold all safety practices and report all safety hazards.

•Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

•Prior experience in production environment equivalent to food industry preferred.

•Must be able to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to effectively communicate with other employees, understand and communicate safety and operational matters, and understand GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and other regulations applicable to the area.

•Must possess the ability to be a trained forklift operator.

•Must be able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

•Must readily accept instruction from management and supervisors.

•Must be dependable and have a flexible schedule.

•Must be willing and able to be cross trained in other areas of production.

•Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates positive working relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.

Most job duties will be performed in the downstream area. Heavy equipment and moving parts are present in these locations. Potential hazards involving this job are:

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm

Flexible with schedule. Be willing to come in a couple hours early or stay a couple hours late.
