Job Description

As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems, contributing to the overall success of our mission to promote mental health and wellness.

The Information Technology Technician is responsible for managing the company's Information Systems policies, network, security, and general processes to assure the development and implementation of data processing, computer operations and related functions (communications, office systems, production activities, etc.) As a member of the management team, the Information Technology Technician participates in coordinating the strategic plan with the development of information systems, provides on-going analysis and planning of information systems, and makes decisions for changes, upgrades, and new projects to facilitate meeting the business needs.

Compensation: $26-$32/hour.
This is a full time, in-person position with the expectation to work out of our corporate office in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function assigned satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Minimum education: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field

  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT Systems & Networking

  • Minimum of three years management or project management experience

  • Extensive experience in Local and Wide Area Networks, data security

  • Must be familiar with HIPAA, CFR 42 Part II, HITECH Act, and other regulations regarding IT Security as related to the behavioral healthcare industry.

  • Extensive experience with computers and software applications, SAAS

  • Certified Network Engineer (CNE) or similar industry recognized certification strongly preferred

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • Current T.B. clearance

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20 lbs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The IT Technician will be assigned responsibilities, based on his/her level of expertise, that include any, or all of the following job responsibilities.

  1. Evaluate business needs, objectives, and goals by researching available products and designating procedures to best meet those needs

  2. Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations and act as required

  3. Develop implementation plans for new projects by coordinating process with project leader

  4. Provide well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability

  5. Develop an annual budget by providing justification when needed

  6. Review and compare actual results to planned budgetary performance, preparing reports reflecting those results

  7. Develop configuration and performance standards; implement and monitor controls to ensure such maintenance; develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan

  8. Review periodically department procedures, staffing, and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs.

  9. Manage the department's personnel activities including job assignment, training, performance evaluation, and compensation review. Report findings to the Director of Business Systems.

  10. Ensure technology utilization providing a fast, accurate, and secure method to access information in a highly efficient and effective manner; ensure service support in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
