Operations Manager

Dukanee Beauty Supply was established in 1962. We are a dynamic and leading Retail company dedicated to the distribution of professional beauty supplies, providing manufacturers with channels to reach customers across professional, non-professional, and B2B segments. The company has grown steadily through strategic acquisitions and new store openings. We pride ourselves on innovation, creativity, and connecting with our audience in meaningful ways. As we expand our online presence, we are seeking a talented Operations Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an efficient and motivated Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of operational processes. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, optimizing processes for efficiency, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.This role demands exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities. The ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively is imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With proven experience in organizing and developing businesses, crafting organizational plans centered around administrative and commercial structuring, forming and nurturing effective teams, generating and implementing processes for client development, distribution channels, and horizontal distribution;

  • Proven track record of leading teams with a focus on the growth and development of team members.

  • The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, optimizing processes for efficiency, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.

  • Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

  • Manage human and financial resources effectively to optimize operational performance.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

  • Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Oversee inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and reduce carrying costs.

  • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the operations department, encouraging innovation and creativity.

  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business goals.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.

  • Certification in operations management or related field is desirable.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role is preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in overseeing day-to-day operations and implementing process improvements.

  • Experience in managing teams, budgets, and resources effectively.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Schedule:

Full Time Day Shift with Saturday availability

Work Location: On-site (Doral,FL)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Between: $80,000.00-$90,000.00
