Join Our Team as a CNC Setup/Operator/Programmer!

Are you ready to take your CNC skills to the next level? We're seeking talented individuals like you to join our dynamic team in the Machine Shop department. As a CNC Setup/Operator/Programmer, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing precision parts to exact specifications using cutting-edge CNC equipment.

Job Title: CNC Setup/Operator $1,000 Sign on !

Shifts: 1st and 2nd

(Summer hours)

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday to Thursday (6:30AM – 12:30 PM Fridays)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay: $27.00 to $37.00 per hr with some OT

Shift Differential for 2nd Shift: Additional $2.00 / hr

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Utilize various CNC equipment, including vertical mills and turning centers, to produce complete parts from piece part drawings.
• Determine machining sequences, tooling selection, program layout, and execution to meet print specifications.
• Fabricate components and assemblies to print tolerance using CNC millers, lathes, rotary indexing tables, and other machinery.
• Set up work using existing tooling/fixtures and occasionally devise specialized fixtures for specific operations.
• Inspect all machined components thoroughly to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold quality standards at all times.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Program CNC equipment for optimal performance.
• Work from verbal instructions, shop orders, and blueprints.
• Select appropriate tooling and programs.
• Assist with training and area upkeep as needed

Desirable Qualifications:

• High school diploma or vocational school equivalent.
• Specialized training in math, trigonometry, complex blueprint reading, and machine programming.
• Five or more years of related machine shop experience.
