Job Description

If you’re an experienced estate planning practitioner who can thrive in a fast-paced environment we are looking for you. If you want to join a unique and modern law firm that will support your desire to have the freedom to work when you want, from wherever you want, we have just what you’re looking for. As a cutting-edge law firm, we have managed to leverage technology and outside the box marketing efforts to generate more leads and clients than we can handle. We have an immediate need for a seasoned attorney to manage the client demand.

The ideal candidate for this position is currently an estate planning practitioner running a solo practice and sick of worrying about generating a steady flow of clients, tired of hearing “no” from PNCs in sales consultations, and completely done with chasing people for money they owe you.

If you would much rather focus on drafting estate plans, finding creative ways to help people protect their legacies, we want you to be able to do that. Leave the “business” of the law firm to us. If rainmaking isn’t your thing, don’t let that stop you from reaching your financial goals. Our Managing Attorney has carefully selected a group of talented individuals to support the Firm’s attorneys and clients so that our attorneys can spend most of their time practicing law and not worrying about learning the finer points of digital marketing, endless networking, opening cases and tracking data entry, bookkeeping, paying rent, or going without a paycheck yourself so you can make payroll.

We offer an innovative and unique compensation package for this contract position.

This is a mostly remote position but does require some travel to our offices in Washington, DC, and/or Largo, MD to perform document signings.

Experience & Requirements:

  • MD Bar in good standing

  • DC Bar in good standing (or ability to waive in)

  • 3+ years of estate planning experience (including handling probate administration)

  • Strong writing skills

  • Ability to take ownership of a case, including the ability to fully manage a probate case

  • An innovative and open mind
