Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $78,000 - $100,000, based on qualifications and experience

Compensation:

$78,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being responsive, compassionate, and proactive to ensure a positive experience for clients.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with both clients and legal team members to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
  • Assist clients in comprehending their needs, exploring legal options, and developing strategies aligned with their objectives.
  • Prepare legal documents under the supervision of a qualified attorney, including pleadings, motions, agreements, contracts, and orders, in collaboration with a team.
  • Uphold the firm's standards in client communication, customer service, and legal ethics consistently.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients facing challenging situations.
  • Differentiate legal issues from emotional matters to best serve the interests of clients.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve individual, firm, and client goals effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to organizational legal procedures and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Meet both the company's and legal requirements in terms of timelines and expectations.
Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid North Carolina law license. (We can help you get sworn in, but you must have the license in hand)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
  • A demonstrated interest in representing clients in mediation and, when necessary, at trial
  • A commitment to helping children and families
  • Ability to manage some independent cases and assist senior attorneys
  • Ability to meet clear, established work standards for timekeeping, client communication, document production, and case management
  • Professional, friendly demeanor that is an asset to the positive workplace culture we've worked hard to build
  • Ability to handle cases in Johnston, Wake, and Harnett Counties
  • Valid North Carolina Notary Public, or ability to obtain it immediately
  • Three professional references
