Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in New Orleans, LA. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to aid in the completion of construction, demolition, or excavation projects. Your expertise in safely and efficiently operating equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders will be essential in contributing to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers to coordinate activities and address any concerns.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, preferably in a construction or related field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment.
