Traveling CPA Auditor

Location: Travel Required

Job Description: As a Traveling CPA Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our clients' financial records. You will be mainly responsible for providing oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to offices in Alabama and Florida while also occasionally conducting audits and bookkeeping services. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

• Providing guidance and support to junior staff members during audit engagements.
• Conducting on-site audits at client locations across different geographic areas.
• Reviewing financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls to identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
• Performing detailed testing procedures to validate the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Communicating to management and clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborating with clients to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Staying abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, including overnight stays as needed.
