Job Description
Carmines, Robbins & Company, PLC is seeking a proficient and detail-focused Tax Manager to oversee our tax return review process. This role is central to our operation, ensuring that all income tax returns for individuals, businesses, fiduciary, and non-profit entities are reviewed with the highest level of accuracy and compliance. The Tax Manager will collaborate closely with our team of accountants and tax professionals, playing a crucial role in tax strategy, optimization, and compliance.
This full-time role on-site offers flexible work arrangements and remote capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the tax return review process, guaranteeing adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other team accountants and tax preparers to identify tax-saving opportunities and improve overall client strategies
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, ensuring our practices and strategies are up-to-date and compliant
Skills and Expertise
- CPA or EA certification is mandatory
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience
- Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, with a proven ability to apply these regulations effectively
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, tailored for effective team collaboration
