Job Description: Sapphire Counseling is looking for a licensed clinician to provide outpatient counseling sessions, in-person and/or virtually, for clients of our outpatient agency. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and have the ability to work from home. This position can be full-time or part-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing counseling services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others overcome challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients using SimplePractice.
• Provide compassionate and evidence-based therapy to address a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress notes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client appointment schedules through SimplePractice.
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards governing mental health counseling and client confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Licensed as a mental health counselor, therapist, or psychologist in Virginia (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP, etc.).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience providing counseling services, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients remotely.
• Comfortable using telehealth technology and platforms for virtual sessions.
• Reliable internet connection and a private, quiet space to conduct sessions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Current credentialing with insurances is preferred.
