Job Duties & Responsibilities

Install new commercial heating, and air conditioning systems
Cut and thread pipes, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
Study building plans and work drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations
Coordinate with dispatch by traveling to service area job sites to maintain the schedule and communicate delays promptly to the customer
Ensure a company wide commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Install sheet metal duct and HVAC equipment
Produce quality workmanship while completing projects on time and on budget
Support lead installer in maintaining a clean, organized job site
Assist lead installer in all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately
Set/mount equipment, rough-in and trim duct systems
Layout and connect electrical wiring between the controls and equipment according to the wiring diagram

Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license
Must be able to travel
Experience working with sheet metal/HVAC in a commercial setting
Experience installing duct systems
Experience installing HVAC systems for commercial construction
Ability to work ground level as well as work from 6 to 12 foot heights

Hotel stay and per diem paid by the company while traveling.
