Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and adhere to month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager to establish and document inventory management policies, ensuring alignment between inventory counts and financial records.
• Manage reimbursements efficiently through Concur, providing internal support to regional employees on travel and reimbursement policies.
• Generate customer invoices as needed, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Actively participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to team goals.
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable function as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.

• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and inventory management is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines consistently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with Great Plains and Concur preferred.
