Electrical Technician I

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. The Electrical Technician will collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

While at warehouse:

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels.
• Use testing equipment to check the circuits for proper connections, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety of components.
• Follow SOPs and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• At least 1 year experience as an electrical technician or as an electrician.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, electronics, mathematics, electrical code requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience operating hand and power tools and fault-testing equipment.

• Vision and hearing correctable to within normal ranges.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and distinctly.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
• Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem.
• Ability to stand & walk, reach outward constantly, lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
• Must be able to exercise fine motor control and possess excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to climb ladders and work overhead at heights.

Work Environment

• Most work will be performed within a warehouse or in an office environment.
• Some travel will be required for short periods of time.
