Job Title: Accessioner (Overnight Shift)

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Job Type: Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Hours: Overnight Shift, 10 PM to 6 AM

Compensation: $18 to $21 per hour

Company Overview: TriLab Health is at the forefront of medical testing and is renowned for quality and accuracy in our laboratory services. We invite a meticulous and committed Accessioner to join our team for the overnight shift, playing a pivotal role in our lab's efficiency and success.

Job Overview: As an Accessioner, you will be integral in preparing, handling, and processing laboratory specimens. This role is suited for someone with a background in biology, chemistry, or a related medical field and who is comfortable working with urine and blood specimens. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and organize specimens to their designated areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Achieve departmental goals for activity and production.
• Manage and store excess specimen samples effectively.
• Conduct precise and timely data entry of patient information.
• Address and document issues with problem specimens.
• Scan and handle patient information documents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (Required).
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field (Preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience as an Accessioner (Preferred, not required).
• Laboratory experience (Preferred).
• Proficient in data entry with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (Required).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment (Required).
• Comfortable handling urine and blood specimens (Required).
• Background in a medical field (e.g., doctor's office, patient care, pharmacy technician) (Preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 10-30 lbs.
• Capability to stand, sit, and bend for prolonged periods.

• This role is specifically for the overnight shift.
