What You'll Do:

The Senior Vice President of Inspire is responsible for operational excellence and regulatory compliance regarding loan origination and loan processing. This position directs loan officers, loan processors, and clerical staff to ensure performance metrics are met and deliverable to Century Communities homebuyers.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide senior leadership to production staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and expectations exceed the homebuyer's needs.
  • Be the subject matter expert on operations, production, and sales-related issues.
  • Ensure the operation complies with all state and federal regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform, Consumer Protection Act, Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFBP), HMDA, RESPA, ECOA, TILA, and the SAFE Act.
  • Monitor and manage customer service surveys and ensure staff training to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Manage, recruit, coach, mentor, train, and develop strong performance management to achieve the highest level of professionalism with remote staff.
  • Develop recommendations, implement, and manage the commission and bonus plan structures.
  • In conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team, establish commitments with the builder to help facilitate the sale of homes.
  • Manage P & L budgets, forecasting, and staffing levels.
  • Business plan development and implementation.
  • Manage overall staff performance by utilizing the loan origination system (Encompass).
  • Continually streamline workflow processes.
  • Be the primary contact for the builder on all escalated mortgage-related issues.
  • Build confidence with the builder on utilizing the in-house lender versus taking the business to an outside lender.
  • Ensure all closings occur accurately and efficiently, meeting the deadlines of the home-buying process.
  • Partner with the Capital Markets department to ensure competitive products are available in each region.
  • Oversee pipeline management.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes and measurements.
  • Ensure all regulatory and investor guidelines are compliant.
  • Work with the Underwriting department and the Executive Leadership Team on any escalated loan related issues.
  • Liaison with the Title company on an as needed basis as it relates to borrower closings.
  • Facilitating adding new community management fees into Inspire systems.
  • If applicable, act in the capacity of "Responsible Person", if required in your residing state.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You Have:
  • A thorough understanding of all loan types, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Bond, and Jumbo.
  • Strong familiarity with Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform, Consumer Protection Act, Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFBP), HMDA, RESPA, and the SAFE Act.
  • Strong familiarity with loan origination systems, Encompass preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • 50% Travel

Your Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and industry experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of mortgage industry experience, including originating, processing, and closing.
  • 6-10 years of management experience, senior leadership roles preferred.
  • Prior training experience is a plus.
  • NMLS (National Multistate Licensing System) license in residing state and other states of responsibility, as necessary.
  • Previous builder experience is a plus.

Compensation: Inspire Home Loans intends to offer the selected candidate an annual pay rate in the range of $165,000k-$175,000k with the potential for an annual incentive. Actual offers will be based on a variety of factors including experience. Employees will have access to paid time off, medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and the Company's 401k plan.
