We have three baking facilities: Brooklyn, New York, our history; Newark, NJ, our coprorate offices and primary bakery; Clifton, NJ, our newest and largest bakery, as well as our R&D center. All sites comply with SQF practices; all sites have highest standards for occupational safety. In total we employ more than 350 people, some who have grown alongside us for 30+ years. In each of the past five years we have been named One of New Jersey's Best Places to Work.We have a very strong- and even historic- presence in the Metro New York market, originally for our Pitas, in recent years for a host of Flatbreads, which include Lavash, Wraps, Pizza Crusts, Buns, and more. We now serve the National Market, inclusive many top tier Quick Serving Restaurants (QSR), Casual Dining Restuarants, Food Service Establishments, Meal Kit Providers, Retail, Club and Natural Stores, Institutions, Distributors, and other Bakeries. For many of our customers, we have been the Flatbread Partner that has helped to create some of America's most exciting, and delicious, sandwiches and pizzas.Our processing equipment is highly automated; our infrastructure, which includes natural gas, high voltage power, refrigeration and boilers, is very new and state-of-the-art. We are seeking forward-thinking AUTOMATION MECHANICS to help us with our growth.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Work in either our Newark or Clifton BakeriesReport to Maintenance ManagersUnderstanding of a 24/7 Food Processing Business and its needs;Understanding of High Speed Automation and Electronics for both Processing and Packaging Equipment;Responsible to follow Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Program and Schedules to ensure that critical equipment and machinery are properly maintained;Asset Management;Establish and maintain machine history files along with schematics, manuals and any relevant information on all equipment;Maintain Inventory System of all critical parts and supplies to ensure minimum and maximum quantities are on-hand.Establish routine, open two-way communication with Production Supervisors and Managers to obtain feedback on equipment and machinery performance.Offers recommendations and makes changes to improve plant operations in respect to quality, efficiency, safety and/or sanitation;Monitors and evaluates all inspections, including safety and sanitation for accuracy and implements corrective action;Makes recommendations for Maintenance Budget and Capital Budget;Submits weekly reports as required. (Emergency repairs, Expenditures, Preventative Maintenance, Machine Down-time, Scheduled Maintenance, Machine Improvement, Department Payroll budget)Responsible for maintaining lock-out/tag-out procedures, MSDS records, safety committee meetings, etc.Responsible for conducting the plant-wide safety audit program to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies;Is available for emergencies on an ‘On Call’ basis;All RESUMES with references should be emailed.
