Job Summary:

Flooring Company located in North San Luis Obispo County seeks an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with experience and a background in general bookkeeping to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and bank reconciliation. Applicants must have demonstrated three (3) years bookkeeping experience and be available on a full-time basis. If you're an experienced bookkeeper, with a great work ethic, excellent communication skills and experience in accounting software, we'd love to talk with you.

Responsibilities:

• ·Oversee all financial transactions using flooring specific software and payroll in QuickBooks.
• ·Prepare and process accounts payables, oversee receivables, deposits, sales tax reporting, commissions, and financial statements.
• Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into flooring software and safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger and journal entries.
• Credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Process weekly payroll including tax deposits, quarterly reporting, annual W-2’s and 1099’s.
• High level data entry for prevailing wages contracts.
• Prepare accounting reports for management, bank and CPA.
• Manage and processes Simple IRA contributions through payroll deductions & employee benefits.
• Assist Manager with HR responsibilities.

Requirements and Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting principles & systems.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate.
• Must be able to keep business matters strictly confidential.
• Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Experience Level:

• 3 years Full Charge Bookkeeping
• Associate degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred. High School Diploma is required.

Pay: D.O.E.

Schedule:
