Job Description
SUMMARY
Packing and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs general shipping duties required for shipping all types of gas cylinders & related products.
- Removes material from stock for shipment
- Prepares material for shipment in accordance with established procedures by correctly stenciling, labeling, and tagging cylinders & related products.
- Leak checks gas mixtures & pure gases prior to shipment as required.
- Accurately completes required documentation, labels, tags, markings & placards for shipments.
- Filling inventory bins and transferring parts to the correct location (physically and virtually)
- Accurately cycle counting items and entering the counts into the software
- Other duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping/Receiving role
- Experience working in equipment manufacturing setting
- Ability to lift 50+lbs
- Must be able to be trained on forklift operation
- Experience working with hazardous materials preferred.
