Our Heavy Equipment Operators are a valuable part of our success collaborating with the team throughout our company footprint to deliver "Power Solutions." This position is open within our Transportation department. You will be responsible for operating mini-excavators, rubber tire backhoes, skid steers, and digger derricks. It is imperative that you have a valid Class A CDL license.

Some of the Work You'll Do:

• Prioritize safety as a top commitment in all work activities.
• Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently, eliminating job site hazards.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
• Collaborate with and support fellow crew members.
• Aid in job layout, checking grade, scheduling, and ordering of materials.
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Here's What You Need:

• Hold a Class A CDL as a mandatory requirement.
• Exhibit attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
• Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and dependability in fulfilling job obligations.
• Possess a minimum of 1-3 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and following design plans and specifications.
• Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to operate mini-excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and digger derricks.
