CSG Investments, Inc. (CSG) is a global buy-and-hold institution that provides flexible and creative capital solutions for all types of commercial and industrial customers. CSG is an affiliate of Beal Bank and Beal Bank USA, both multi-billion-dollar financial institutions. CSG seeks to make direct investments in companies across multiple sectors.

CSG is actively searching for sharp, critical thinking individuals to join the organization as Investment Analysts work closely with Associates and Managing Directors to research investment ideas across a wide spectrum of sectors and industries. This role requires strong skills in mathematics, statistics, Excel and other analytical and data tools and techniques. Successful Analysts are afforded greater responsibility at their own pace, with the ultimate goal of developing into an Investment Associate and eventually leading their own team.

The position is on-site in our Plano, TX headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

Source new investment opportunities, primarily through screening and analysis of publicly available information through a variety of sources and platforms
Assist investment teams in the evaluation, structuring and negotiation of the firm's transactions
Build financial models and valuation analyses
Prepare and present investment presentations
Perform fundamental credit analysis and conduct due diligence for potential transactions
Analyze capital structure and credit documentation
Assess financial, operating and bankruptcy/restructuring prospects
Research companies, industries, and debt markets
Monitor and evaluate existing investments
Actively participate in risk identification and risk management
Work on special projects from time to time as requested

Qualifications (Education, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):

Bachelors degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, engineering and/or computer science
0-3 years of prior work experience; positions or internships in investment banking, private equity/credit or similar fields preferred
Passion for fundamental analysis and flexible investing across public and private companies
Advanced understanding of accounting and mastery of the financial statements
Valuation experience and excellent Excel modeling skills
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently in a highly unstructured environment and be a team player
