The Tax Department is tasked with managing the tax operations of the company, including compliance, financial reporting, planning, and more. This environment is marked by its dynamic and fast-paced nature, offering ample opportunities for professional growth and learning. The role of Tax Senior Associate is crucial within the department, focusing primarily on federal and state income tax compliance, financial reporting, tax planning, and relevant research activities.

Core Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the compilation and filing of both federal and state-level tax returns.
• Oversee and address any correspondences or notices related to state income taxes.
• Provide support during tax audits or disputes that might surface.
• Contribute to the quarterly preparation of tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Engage in diverse tax-related assignments and initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and draft comprehensive memorandums addressing various income tax matters.

Position Qualifications:

• A requisite undergraduate degree in accounting.
• Strong preference for candidates holding or pursuing CPA accreditation.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a tax-specific role within a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Proficient in accounting practices with a keen analytical aptitude.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
