Position Summary

The primary role of a Busser is to effectively support the bar staff by ensuring adequate supplies are available throughout service and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the bar. Their job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of all beverage menus, specials and ingredients in each.
  • Clear and maintain tables of empty glassware and trash in a timely manner
  • Maintain proper levels of all tools and equipment, including ice, glasses, bar equipment, and all other necessary items.
  • Knowledge of Tropicana Pool Cafe and general local area information.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view.
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness in lounge and service areas
  • Complete assigned duties within each shift.
  • Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
  • Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Customer Service: Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible. Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs. Education and Work Experience

  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training
  • Service in a high-volume venue preferred
  • Hospitality experience preferred
