Job Description

Integrity Federal Services (IFS) is a design-oriented civil engineering firm, specializing in the delivery of land development solutions on challenging projects. We are seeking design professionals to join our close knit and dynamic team. We are hiring multiple technicians to fill these roles.

At IFS we work on a variety of private and government projects, it is an ongoing company objective to diversify our workload among multiple sectors. Our work with the Federal Government is primarily with the Department of Veterans Affairs on facilities across the United States. For engineers who are seeking to broaden their project resume this is a great opportunity.

One of our newest contracts is the design of a $100M facility located in Riverside California. We are looking for engineers who have the ability to step in and play major roles on projects like this one. The ideal candidate is seeking to take their career to the next level, effort and hard work will be rewarded.

The CAD Designer will provide design and drafting support for various civil site development projects from conceptual phase through construction documents. Tasks will include developing small and large-scale commercial, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation projects.

IFS offers a compress 9/80 work schedule to our staff. Every two weeks you will have a 3 day weekend.

Bonus available depending on company and personal performance.

Job Summary

Our immediate need is to find engineers that can support design efforts for:

· Private land development projects
· Utility expansion and repair projects at VA Medical Centers
· National Cemetery projects across the United States.

Some travel would be expected, potentially including Puerto Rico, Florida, California, and Texas.

Responsibilities

Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details in accordance with client and industry design standards.
Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget.
Perform drainage calculations for slopes, sewer design, hydraulic systems, detention ponds, etc.
Independently complete redlines and plan revisions.
Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with project managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft office suite; Civil 3D strongly preferred.
3 to 5 years of experience working in a design/consulting environment.
