Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Zumba Instructor, you would be responsible for teaching and facilitating Zumba fitness classes. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Provide, teach and facilitate group Zumba classes for clients
Ensure safe exercise practice through observation, correction, assistance and answering questions
Ensure current knowledge of exercise techniques and trends
Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness of work area including, but not limited to, the facility, studios, and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards
The ideal candidate will have a Licensed Zumba Instructor certification and be a member of the Zumba Instructor Network.
Education and Experience:
- Prior Fitness experience required
- Ability to train to all fitness levels
- Passion for health and fitness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Currently have or be willing to obtain instructor insurance prior to first class
- Be outgoing and present a professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation to and from classes
Physical Demands:
- Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
Work Environment:
- Exposed to gym elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, human sweat, foot traffic, various Exercise equipment.
