Equipment Mechanic

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance of equipment and vehicles. The position must possess the ability to understand and apply information from technical manuals, prints and schematics. The Mechanic will perform preventative maintenance inspections and complete repairs and part replacements and learn. The Mechanic will apply new technology in advance diagnostics and repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preform repairs to equipment and vehicles in the shop and field
• Report any major repairs or problems to the Fleet Manager
• Maintain and track accurate and complete work orders using HCSS Equipment 360 software
• Inspect equipment on a jobsite for adequate servicing and maintenance by job

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License – Class B CDL a plus
• Hydraulics License a plus
• Valid Medical Card a plus
• Ability to Drive Truck up to 26,000 lb. GVW a plus
• Welding a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years mechanical experience in all areas of repair
