Job Description

Position: Production Technician

Location: Palo Alto, CA 94303

Pay Rate: $27.00 to $30.00 / hour (Benefits available)

Shift: Day

Type: 12+ month contract (with possible conversion or extension)

Job Description:

The primary job function is the fabrication and test of deploy-able multi panel solar arrays and mechanism assemblies for spacecraft.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, assembly procedures and specifications is required.
Successful candidates will have an extensive working knowledge of hand tools and experience building precision assemblies.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, assembly procedures and specifications is required.
Knowledge of thermal chambers is a plus.
High school education and 3-5 years of mechanical experience is required
AA/AS degree or FAA Air frame & Power plant Certification preferred
Military background preferred
