Salary:

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FAA Technical Training Project Manager to lead a large, diverse team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks including process improvement support, project management support, strategic planning and technical training.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the task order, ensuring all technical and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide process improvement support including meeting facilitation, Lean Six Sigma techniques, benchmarking, change management and project coaching.
  • Support project managers in creating project plans, identifying and coordinating with stakeholder groups, coaching, reporting project status and managing records.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, perform routine revisions, updates and assist with document development and control.
  • Collaborate with other vendors to identify critical touch points across planned tasks and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings and conferences, prepare agendas and develop briefing materials.
  • Support the development of strategic training technology roadmaps, processes, organizational priorities and goals.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, including participation in working groups, integrated project teams and architecture and system integration planning sessions.
  • Identify business inefficiencies and make recommendations for improving integration and modernization of systems.


Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in a technical training environment.
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and deliver on time under rigid deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma techniques and benchmarking.
  • Experience with complex training development/delivery projects.
  • Experience supporting the FAA, especially within the Safety and Technical Training organization (AJI).
  • 20+ years of relevant work experience in training/curriculum development and/or project management.
  • Proven experience in training development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA training policies and directives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.
  • Upon conditional offer of employment candidates will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.
  • Verification of past employment, verification of education and references are also required.


Skills Preferred:

  • Experience with software integration across technical training tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other vendors and stakeholders.
  • Experience with current cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, curriculum/instruction or related field and 20 years relevant experience OR 
  • Master's degree in business, project management, curriculum/instruction or related field and 15 years relevant experience.
