We are looking for a dependable individual who reports to work as scheduled.   The Service Coordinator position is essential to the operations and needs to effectively communicate with teammates, clients, and vendors. Position Summary:                              


The Service Department Coordinator oversees the daily operations and coordination of our Service Department. The position is responsible for managing service appointments, scheduling technician assignments, and ensuring efficient communication between team members and clients.   Duties include managing service software, processing billings and work orders, and identifying areas for improvement in service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work together with various teams, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


- Oversee the efficient daily operations of the Service Department.
- Manage Service Software "Field Point" to streamline service processes.
- Coordinate service appointments for clients and technicians.
- Schedule superintendent site visits and daily tasks to support the Service Department.
- Facilitate communication and coordinate materials for technicians.
- Manage VPO/FPO process with clients and the Residential team.
- Process service department billings and work orders.
- Assist in identifying recurring items to improve SVDW delivery of the final product to clients.
- Participate in weekly/monthly meetings with the Residential Team as necessary.


Goals:


- Discover, develop, and celebrate the unique qualities of each Service Technician and Service Superintendent.
- Recognize and integrate their distinct abilities into a cohesive strategy.
- Encourage Service Technicians to excel in their individual strengths.
- Foster a positive work environment by refraining from criticizing, condemning, or complaining to coworkers.
- Successfully train other SVDW employees to provide coverage during absences or vacations.

REQUIREMENTS 


Education and Experience:  

  • Must have a GED or High School Diploma
  • Must have at least one-year administrative support experience in a similar capacity
  • Any equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfies the requirements of the job will be considered


Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Skill in operating various types of office equipment
  • Ability to execute standard office methods and procedures
  • Ability to prepare a variety of reports and correspondence with accuracy and completeness, maintain client confidentiality, and perform routine office management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and clients


Preferred

  • Bi-lingual speaking English/Spanish


Base Pay range

$22/hr - $30/hr, based on experience and qualifications
