Commercial HVAC Service Technician- $28-$38/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for experienced Commercial Service Technicians to join our team. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in a commercial setting. Including rooftop units primarily 5-ton and 10-ton units but up to 25-ton units, 5-ton split systems, makeup air units with roof mounted exhaust fans and/or hanging unit heaters, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, Mini splits, VRV systems, VRF systems etc..

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience required
• Universal EPA Certification required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Clean background check
• Acquires or personally owns tools needed for jobs including: meters, gauges, and testing tools, that are required for a complete refrigerant repair and proper start-up, and has the skills to use the tools properly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete maintenance calls on various type of HVAC equipment.
• Read electrical and refrigerant schematics to assist with the diagnosis of issues.
• Replace various parts on a system to get the unit running for the customer.
• Communicate issues with the customer and provide solutions to customer including pricing.
• Communicate with the office staff the correct timeframes needed to complete repairs.
• Maintain sufficient tools to complete various repairs.
• Be a team player and take the initiative to help out other Service Technicians.
• Full time employee, will be scheduled 40 hours per week. Overtime required based on business needs.
• Adheres to all safety policies.
• Attends training opportunities to keep up with industry changes.
• Take responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
