Quick Lube Technician

FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE seeks a highly motivated Lube Technician at FOUNDATION CHEVROLET. The quick lube technician will be responsible for servicing vehicles for oil changes and carrying out responsibilities assigned by the manager and by the dealership and factory standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance systems including, but not limited to: flushes, oil changes, and tire rotations.
• Perform general vehicle inspections and make recommendations based on time/mileage/condition
• Perform general maintenance on customers' cars and light trucks/vans
• Complete training paths necessary as prescribed by mentor/management team
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment; perform all lubrication services
• Document inspections
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean and are only driven for business purposes
• Keep shop area neat, and clean; must account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
• Communicate regularly with the service advisor/dispatcher to confirm the repair order information and diagnostic information
• Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition; immediately report safety incidents

Qualifications:

• Must have own tools to perform general maintenance
• Lift up to 70lbs
• Automotive maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
