**Position Summary:**
As a School-Based Mental Health Clinician, you're not just providing services; you're igniting transformation in the hearts and minds of students. Collaborate closely with youth and families to design personalized service plans, lead dynamic therapy sessions, and offer invaluable clinical consultation. Your presence in the classroom isn't just about therapy; it's about guiding students towards their fullest potential.
**Essential Job Functions:**
- Dive into the heart of intensive clinical services, bringing hope and healing to youth and adolescents within the school environment.
- Craft personalized, strengths-based service plans that light the path towards growth and resilience.
- Lead engaging therapy sessions, tapping into various modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Foster connection and community through impactful group counseling sessions.
- Be the unwavering support system, offering clinical consultation, evaluations, and seamless referrals to additional services.
- Keep the momentum going with meticulous documentation and record-keeping.
- Embrace the dynamic nature of your role, from classrooms to offices to home visits, bringing your physical and emotional presence wherever it's needed most.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Social Work, counseling, or related field, with a passion for making a difference.
- Clinical License preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Preliminary license acceptable (LSW, LAC).
- Bring at least 1 year of experience working with youth and adolescents (ages 4-21) to the table.
- Previous experience with developmental disabilities and in school settings is a definite plus.
- Ready to spring into action whenever needed, including assisting with emergency evacuations.
