Non-Certified Radiologic Tech

An NCT, or Non-Certified Radiologic Technician, is a medical assistant who performs diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, on patients in a clinic. NCTs must be knowledgeable in anatomy, pathology, and radiography terminology, and adhere to strict safety procedures. We are looking for a PRN provider to cover shifts in our clinic locations.
Some duties of an NCT include:
Positioning patients, Adjusting equipment, Surgical scheduling, Assisting with procedures, Cleaning and stocking rooms, Refills, Pre-certs, Scheduling procedures, Lab work, and EHR charting.
Other duties may include:
- Observing responses
- Documenting behaviors
- Conducting intakes
- Recording vital signs
- Supporting personal needs
- Patient-focused care
- Measuring bodily fluids
- Responding to emergencies
