Job Title : Senior Tax Accountant
Location : Olney, MD - 20832
Type : Fulltime, direct hire

Need someone with experience in preparing individual, corporate (S corp and C corp), partnership tax returns.
General Ledger
Tax projections
ProSystem

CPA license is highly preferred

Client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for our office located in Olney, MD. We cultivate unique relationships with each client, accommodating specific needs and work to provide the personal attention, recognition and respect our clients deserve.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with the current accounting staff and management, including but not limited to:
Prepare individual, corporate (S corp and C corp), partnership tax returns
Review General Ledger and reports to assist in preparation of tax projections
Perform tax research and planning, as needed, to solve client's tax issues
Assist in the preparation of financial reports that may include net worth statements, cash flow schedules, meeting packages, budgets, investment analysis, tour reconciliations, etc.
Assist client service team with other projects, as necessary

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4+ years in preparation and/or review of individual, corporate, partnership tax returns
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Organization skills with attention to detail
Capability to learn new systems and process information quickly
Proficiency at Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and QuickBooks
Familiarity with ProSystem

Preferred:
CPA license is highly preferred
