Counselor (Full Time)

Come join our Clinical Team in providing direct counseling services to justice-involved clients in adult substance-use treatment! The Leonardtown Detention Center Treatment Team serves individuals who are incarcerated through structured programs guiding our clients through the treatment process. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare in Leonardtown offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being

Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000/year

Here at Walden, our Counselors:

• provide elite-level care to adults seeking treatment by evaluating behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs
• provide personalized treatment plans specific to individual needs
• Facilitate all clinical services for clients including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/ outpatient provider contact.
• provide detailed and personalized aftercare planning and community outreach resources/referrals
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience:

• Maryland ADT Status (Link: ADT Status Resource Page )
• Clinical Licensure (one of the following) : LCADC, LCSW-C, LMSW, LGPC, LGADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD
