Technical SOP Writer/Developer-Contract

Purpose

CENTEGIX is looking for a Technical SOP Writer/Developer for a 6 month contract (4o hours a week. As a Technical Writer/Developer at CENTEGIX, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical and process documentation that effectively communicates detailed information to internal stakeholders and external partners and customers. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across multiple departments to gather information and translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs to gather information and understand technical concepts.
• Write and edit technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and technical specifications.
• Organize and structure content to ensure clarity and accessibility for end-users.
• Assist in the creation of visual content such as images, videos, and screen recordings to enhance customer facing materials and communications.
• Translate technical jargon into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.
• Conduct research and gather relevant data to support documentation projects.
• Review and revise documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets the needs of various stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technical writer.
• Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or MadCap Flare.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation management systems.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel up to 10% to sites
• Commit to a 6 month contract with possibility to go permanent and 4o hours a week
